Biographical history
Antonio Garrido Moraga nació el 17 de agosto de 1954. Doctor en Filología Hispánica, fue maestro de escuela –su primer destino docente, según recordaba, fue Canillas de Aceituno– y llegó a ser catedrático de Lengua y Literatura, donde se especializó en retórica y teoría literata y ensayista. La universidad era su vida y desde ella contribuyó a la creación de la Facultad de Ciencias de la Comunicación. Además, fue ponente en universidades europeas y norteamericanas.
